SOWCLE History

The Social Organization for Women and Children Life Empowerment (SOWCLE) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2011 and officially registered with the Ministry of Economy under registration number 2248. Headquartered in Kabul, Afghanistan, SOWCLE is dedicated to poverty alleviation, women and child empowerment, education, health, livelihood support, and humanitarian assistance.

Over the years, SOWCLE has implemented impactful projects across Afghanistan, especially in Helmand province, supporting women and vulnerable groups with training, skills, and opportunities for sustainable development.
