The Social Organization for Women and Children Life Empowerment (SOWCLE) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2011 and officially registered with the Ministry of Economy under registration number 2248. Headquartered in Kabul, Afghanistan, SOWCLE is committed to alleviating poverty and promoting sustainable development, while fostering long-term peace, equality, and resilience within Afghan communities. Our core focus is the empowerment of women, children, and vulnerable groups through integrated programs that address healthcare, education, livelihood opportunities, and social protection. We work to ensure women’s social and legal protection, provide access to physical and mental health services, and respond to the needs of women and girls through hygiene supplies, vocational and technical training, capacity building, and humanitarian assistance

SOWCLE (Social Welfare and Community Livelihood Empowerment) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to empowering women, children, and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. We work to improve access to healthcare, education, sustainable livelihoods, and assistance, fostering humanitarian resilience, equality, and long-term prosperity for all.

Social Organization for Women and Children Life Empowerment(SOWCLE) is an Afghan nongovernmental non political and non-profitable humanitarian organization whose core objectives are to contribute to poverty alleviation and to provide services that contribute towards long-term peace and sustainable development in Afghanistan, and also works for women’s social and legal protection, physical and mental health, and needs of women and girls for hygiene supplies, including menstrual hygiene, vocational training, technical skills trainings and capacity building, humanitarian assistance and response to natural and conflict-related emergencies. SOWCLE may also be involved in the distribution of health, food, and Non-Food Items, as well as education, training, and capacity building. Additionally, it may assist at-risk adolescents and youth, focusing on GBV, women’s and children’s empowerment, and small and medium enterprise development.
